40:22. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸತ್ಯವಾದ ದೇವರು. ಆತನು ಉನ್ನತವಾದ ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಜನರು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳಂತಿರುವರು. ಆತನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಂತೆ ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ಸುರುಳಿಯಾಗಿ ಸುತ್ತುವನು. ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ಆತನು ಎಳೆದು ಗುಡಾರದಂತೆ ಅಗಲಮಾಡಿ ಅದರಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

40:22. ಆಕಾಶ ಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಂತೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಗುಡಾರದಂತೆ ಹರಡಿ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಮಿಡತೆಯಂತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುವಷ್ಟು ಭೂವೃತ್ತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತಿರುವಾತನು ಆತನೇ.

40:22. He is the one who sits on the earth's horizon; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers before him. He is the one who stretches out the sky like a thin curtain, and spreads it out like a pitched tent.

40:22. God sits above the circle of the earth. The people below seem like grasshoppers to him! He spreads out the heavens like a curtain and makes his tent from them.

40:22. It is he that sitteth above the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in;

40:22. It is the Lord who sits above the circle of the earth. And compared to him, people are like grasshoppers. He rolled open the skies like a piece of cloth. He stretched out the skies like a tent to sit under.
