37:8. ಹೀಗೆ ರಬ್ಷಾಕನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ದಾರಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನು ಲಾಕೀಷನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದನೆಂಬ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಕೇಳಿ ಲಿಬ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು.

37:8. When the chief adviser heard the king of Assyria had departed from Lachish, he left and went to Libnah, where the king was campaigning.

37:8. Meanwhile, the Assyrian chief of staff left Jerusalem and went to consult the king of Assyria, who had left Lachish and was attacking Libnah.
