28:20. ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನಗೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುವನು. ಅವನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಂಬಳಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯೂ, ಆ ಕಂಬಳಿಯೂ ಹೇಗೆ ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕವೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವೂ ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕವಾಗಿದೆ.”

28:20. ಮೈ ಚಾಚುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾಗಿರು ವದು. ಮುದುರಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಲಗೇನಂದರೆ ಹೊದಿ ಕೆಯ ಅಗಲ ಸಾಲದು;

28:20. For the bed is too short to stretch out on, and the blanket is too narrow to wrap around oneself.

28:20. The bed you have made is too short to lie on. The blankets are too narrow to cover you.

28:20. For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it; and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
