16:10. ಕರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯನವಾಗಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಇರದು. ಸುಗ್ಗಿಕಾಲದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂತಸಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳು ರಸ ತೆಗೆಯಲು ಪಕ್ವವಾಗಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುವವು.

16:10. ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಹೊಲಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂತೋಷವು ಮತ್ತು ಆನಂದವು ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವವು; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟಗ ಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಆರ್ಭಟವಾಗಲಿ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ತೆಗೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರ ಕೂಗಾಟವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ.

16:10. Joy and happiness disappear from the orchards, and in the vineyards no one rejoices or shouts; no one treads out juice in the wine vats— I have brought the joyful shouts to an end.

16:10. Gone now is the gladness, gone the joy of harvest. There will be no singing in the vineyards, no more happy shouts, no treading of grapes in the winepresses. I have ended all their harvest joys.

16:10. And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the fruitful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither joyful noise: no treader shall tread out wine in the presses; I have made the vintage shout to cease.

16:10. And joy and gladness are taken away from the fruitful field, and in the vineyards no songs are sung, no cheers are raised; no treader treads out wine in the presses; I have put an end to the shouting.

16:10. There will be no joy and happiness in the orchard. I will end the happy singing and shouting in the vineyard. The grapes are ready to make wine, but they will all be ruined.
