2:8. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದೆ; ರಾಜರುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರ ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಭಂಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡೆ. ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹಾಡಲು ಗಾಯಕಗಾಯಕಿಯರಿದ್ದರು. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸಲು ಅನೇಕ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯರಿದ್ದರು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬಯಸಬಹುದಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೆ.

2:8. ನಾನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಸರ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಗಾಯಕ ಗಾಯಕಿಯರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರರಿಗೆ ಆನಂದಕರವಾದ ಸಂಗೀತ ವಾದ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡೆನು.

2:8. I also amassed silver and gold for myself, as well as valuable treasures taken from kingdoms and provinces. I acquired male singers and female singers for myself, and what gives a man sensual delight— a harem of beautiful concubines!
