17:9. ನಿನಗೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದವನನ್ನು ನೀನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿದರೆ ನೀನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಾಗುವಿ. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಆ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗೆಳೆತನವು ಒಡೆದು ಹೋಗುವುದು.

17:9. ದೋಷ ವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವವನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಆಡುವವನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇ ಕಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

17:9. The one who forgives an offense seeks love, but whoever repeats a matter separates close friends.
