17:28. ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಮೂಢನು ಸಹ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಂತೆ ಕಾಣುವನು; ಮಾತಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ವಿವೇಕಿಯಂತೆ ಕಾಣುವನು.

17:28. ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು; ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವವನು ವಿವೇಕಿಯೆಂದು ಅನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
