17:16. ಮೂಢನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣವಿದ್ದರೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಹಣ ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕ.

17:16. ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರು ವದರಿಂದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಯ ಯಾಕೆ?

17:16. Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no intention of acquiring wisdom?

17:16. It is senseless to pay tuition to educate a fool, since he has no heart for learning.
