5:19. The Israelite foremen saw that they were in trouble when they were told, "You must not reduce the daily quota of your bricks."

5:19. The Israelite foremen could see that they were in serious trouble when they were told, "You must not reduce the number of bricks you make each day."

5:19. And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, when it was said, Ye shall not diminish aught from your bricks, your daily tasks.

5:19. The foremen of the people of Israel saw that they were in trouble when they said, "You shall by no means reduce your number of bricks, your daily task each day."

5:19. And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, when it was said, Ye shall not minish aught from your bricks, {cf15i your} daily tasks.

5:19. And the authorities of the sons of Israel see them in affliction, saying, `Ye do not diminish from your bricks; the matter of a day in its day.`

5:19. The Hebrew foremen knew they were in trouble, because the Pharaoh had told them, "You must still make as many bricks as you made before."
