22:7. “ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹಣವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಆ ಹಣವಾಗಲಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಕಳುವಾದರೆ ಕಳ್ಳನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲು ನೀವು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಬೇಕು. ನೀವು ಕಳ್ಳನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದರೆ, ಆಗ ಅವನು ತಾನು ಕದ್ದವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಬೆಲೆಯ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.
