22:2. ಒಬ್ಬ ಕಳ್ಳನು ಕನ್ನ ಕೊರೆಯುವಾಗ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಸಾಯಿಸುವವನ ರಕ್ತಸುರಿಸಬಾರದು.

22:2. "If a thief is caught breaking in and is struck so that he dies, there will be no blood guilt for him.

22:2. "If a thief is caught in the act of breaking into a house and is struck and killed in the process, the person who killed the thief is not guilty of murder.

But if this happens during the day, the one who killed him will be guilty of murder.
