21:9. ಯಜಮಾನನು ಗುಲಾಮಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಅವಳನ್ನು ಗುಲಾಮಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಸೊಸೆಯಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

21:9. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಅವಳನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

21:9. If he designated her for his son, then he will deal with her according to the customary rights of daughters.

21:9. But if the slave's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave but as a daughter.
