21:26. “ಯಜಮಾನನು ಗುಲಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೊಡೆದಾಗ ಗುಲಾಮನು ಕುರುಡನಾದರೆ, ಆ ಗುಲಾಮನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಗುಲಾಮನ ಅಥವಾ ಗುಲಾಮಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೇ ನಿಯಮ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

21:26. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ದಾಸನ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದಾಸಿಯ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ನಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಮಾಡಿ ಅವನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿ.

21:26. "If a man strikes the eye of his male servant or his female servant so that he destroys it, he will let the servant go free as compensation for the eye.
