40:12. ದುಷ್ಟರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುಗಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅವರು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರೆ. ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲುಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿವೆ. ನಾನು ಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆ.

40:12. ಲೆಕ್ಕ ವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಕೇಡುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ನಾನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡಲಾರದಷ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದವೆ; ಅವು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲು ಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿವೆ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುಂದಿಸಿತು.

40:12. For innumerable dangers surround me. My sins overtake me so I am unable to see; they outnumber the hairs of my head so my strength fails me.

40:12. For troubles surround me-- too many to count! My sins pile up so high I can't see my way out. They outnumber the hairs on my head. I have lost all courage.

40:12. For innumerable evils have compassed me about; Mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; They are more than the hairs of my head; And my heart hath failed me.

40:12. For evils have encompassed me beyond number; my iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head; my heart fails me.

40:12. For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
