39:6. ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಿತವು ಕೇವಲ ಕನ್ನಡಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬದಂತಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಗಡಿಬಿಡಿಯಿಂದ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಾವು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವು ಯಾರ ಪಾಲಾಗುವುದೊ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು.

39:6. ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದ ತೋರಿಕೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವಾದ ಗದ್ದಲ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕುಪ್ಪೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೋ ಅರಿಯನು.

39:6. Surely people go through life as mere ghosts. Surely they accumulate worthless wealth without knowing who will eventually haul it away."

39:6. We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it.
