35:13. ಅವರು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾನು ದುಃಖಪಟ್ಟೆನು; ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಇದು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವೇ?

35:13. ನಾನಾ ದರೋ ಅವರು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾದಾಗ, ಗೋಣೀ ತಟ್ಟು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಪವಾಸದಿಂದ ಕುಂದಿಸಿದೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ನನ್ನ ಎದೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿತು.

35:13. When they were sick, I wore sackcloth, and refrained from eating food. (If I am lying, may my prayers go unanswered!)

35:13. Yet when they were ill, I grieved for them. I denied myself by fasting for them, but my prayers returned unanswered.

35:13. But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I afflicted my soul with fasting; And my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
