142:5. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯಸ್ಥಾನವೂ ನೀನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಬಲ್ಲಾತನೂ ನೀನೇ ಎಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು.

142:5. ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ -- ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯವೂ ಜೀವಿತರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂಬದೇ.

142:5. I cry out to you, O LORD; I say, "You are my shelter, my security in the land of the living."

142:5. Then I pray to you, O LORD. I say, "You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life.

142:5. I cried unto thee, O Jehovah; I said, Thou art my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.
