7:2. ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಉರಿಬಿಸಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಟ್ಟು ದುಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಂಪಾದ ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವ ಗುಲಾಮನಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಮನುಷ್ಯನು, ದಿನದ ಕೂಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೂಲಿಯವನಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

7:2. ಸೇವಕನು ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಕೂಲಿಯವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೂಲಿಯನ್ನು ಕೋರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾ ರವೂ

7:2. Like a servant longing for the evening shadow, and like a hired man looking for his wages,

7:2. like a worker who longs for the shade, like a servant waiting to be paid.

7:2. As a servant that earnestly desireth the shadow, And as a hireling that looketh for his wages:
