21:19. ‘ದುಷ್ಟನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಶೇಖರಿಸಿಡುತ್ತಾನೆ’ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಇಲ್ಲ! ದೇವರು ದುಷ್ಟನನ್ನೇ ದಂಡಿಸಲಿ. ಆಗ, ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ತನಗೆ ದಂಡನೆಯಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಅವನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

21:19. ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಇಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

21:19. You may say, 'God stores up a man's punishment for his children!' Instead let him repay the man himself so that he may know it!

21:19. " 'Well,' you say, 'at least God will punish their children!' But I say he should punish the ones who sin, so that they understand his judgment.

21:19. Ye say, God layeth up his iniquity for his children. Let him recompense it unto himself, that he may know it:
