12:4. “ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಗುವರು, ಹೌದು, ನಾನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವೆನು; ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವನು. ನಾನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

12:4. ನಾನು ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ನಗೆಯಾದವನು; ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಗು ತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆತನು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನೀತಿವಂತ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಗೇಲಿಮಾಡಿ ನಗುವರು.

12:4. I am a laughingstock to my friends, I, who called on God and whom he answered— a righteous and blameless man is a laughingstock!

12:4. Yet my friends laugh at me, for I call on God and expect an answer. I am a just and blameless man, yet they laugh at me.
