1:21. “ನಾನು ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದ ಜನಿಸಿದಾಗ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿದ್ದೆನು; ಈ ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವಾಗಲೂ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿಯೇ ಹೋಗುವೆನು. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಆತನ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

1:21. ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭ ದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದೆನು, ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ಕರ್ತನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು, ಕರ್ತನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು; ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಅಂದನು.

1:21. He said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will return there. The LORD gives, and the LORD takes away. May the name of the LORD be blessed!"

1:21. He said, "I came naked from my mother's womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!"

1:21. and he said, Naked came I out of my mothers womb, and naked shall I return thither: Jehovah gave, and Jehovah hath taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah.

1:21. and said, "When I was born into this world, I was naked and had nothing. When I die and leave this world, I will be naked and have nothing. The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Praise the name of the Lord!"
