1:15. ಆದರೆ ಶೆಬ ದೇಶದವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದರು; ನಾನೊಬ್ಬನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು! ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಬಂದೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

1:15. ಶೆಬದವರು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು; ಹೌದು, ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು. ನಾನೊಬ್ಬನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು ಅಂದನು.
