9:22. ಯೋರಾವುನು ಯೇಹುವನ್ನು, “ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯುಂಟೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಯೇಹುವು, “ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳು ಅನೇಕ ಅನೈತಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವತನಕ ಶುಭವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು.

9:22. ಯೋರಾಮನು ಯೇಹು ವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ--ಯೇಹುವೇ, ಸಮಾಧಾನವೋ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಈಜೆ ಬೆಲಳ ಜಾರತ್ವವೂ ಅವಳ ಮಾಟಗಳೂ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿರು ವಾಗ ಸಮಾಧಾನವೇನು ಅಂದನು.

9:22. When Jehoram saw Jehu, he asked, "Is everything all right, Jehu?" He replied, "How can everything be all right as long as your mother Jezebel promotes idolatry and pagan practices?"
