17:20. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಗೊಳಿಸಲು ನಾಶಕರಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿದನು. ಕೊನೆಗೆ, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ದೂರತಳ್ಳಿ, ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನೂ ದೂರ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
