3:2. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಅದುವರೆವಿಗೂ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಶುಗಳ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

3:2. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಆಲಯ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಎತ್ತರದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
