2:17. ಅದೋನೀಯನು, “ರಾಜನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ನೀನು ಏನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆಂಬುದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ, ಶೂನೇಮಿನ ಅಬೀಷಗ್ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ನೀನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

2:17. ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಹೇಳು ಅಂದಳು. ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಶೂನೇ ಮ್ಯಳಾದ ಅಬೀಷಗೈಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳು;

2:17. He said, "Please ask King Solomon if he would give me Abishag the Shunammite as a wife, for he won't refuse you."

2:17. He replied, "Speak to King Solomon on my behalf, for I know he will do anything you request. Ask him to let me marry Abishag, the girl from Shunem."

2:17. And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king (for he will not say thee nay), that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.

2:17. And he said, "Please ask King Solomon- he will not refuse you- to give me Abishag the Shunammite as my wife."

2:17. And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king, (for he will not say thee nay,) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.

2:17. And he said, "Pray ask King Solomon -- he will not refuse you -- to give me Abishag the Shunammite as my wife."

2:17. Adonijah said, "I know that King Solomon will do whatever you ask. So please ask him to let me marry Abishag, the woman from Shunem."

2:17. He said, Please speak to Solomon the king (for he will not tell you \'no\'), that he give me Abishag the Shunammite as wife.
