5:19. ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ “ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಡಲು ನಾನು ಹೋಗಬಹುದೇ? ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಲು ನೀನು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವೆಯಾ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ, “ಹೋಗು, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

5:19. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು--ನಾನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕೋ? ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡು ವಿಯೋ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗು; ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

5:19. So David asked the LORD, "Should I march up against the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?" The LORD said to David, "March up, for I will indeed hand the Philistines over to you."
