14:29. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಯೋವಾಬನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸಂದೇಶಕರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನನ್ನು ರಾಜನ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಈ ಸಂದೇಶಕರು ಯೋವಾಬನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಬಾರಿ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೂ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

14:29. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯೋವಾಬನನ್ನು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲ್ಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದನು. ಎರಡನೇ ಸಾರಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಮತ್ತೂ ಅವನು ಬರಲ್ಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದನು.
