49:3. “ರೂಬೇನನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಗ. ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮಗ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಇತರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಿಂತ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿಯೂ ಗೌರವಯುತನೂ ಆಗಿರುವೆ.

49:3. ರೂಬೇನನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನು, ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಲದ ಆರಂಭವೂ ಔನ್ಯತ್ಯಾತಿ ಶಯವೂ ಬಲಾತಿಶಯವೂ ನೀನೇ.

49:3. Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might and the beginning of my strength, outstanding in dignity, outstanding in power.
