28:6. ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದೂ, ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪದ್ದನ್‌ಅರಾಮಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೂ, ಕಾನಾನಿನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಕೂಡದೆಂದು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿರುವುದೂ ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು.

28:6. ಇಸಾಕನು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪದ್ದನ್‌ ಅರಾಮಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ

28:6. Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him off to Paddan Aram to find a wife there. As he blessed him, Isaac commanded him, "You must not marry a Canaanite woman."

28:6. Esau knew that his father, Isaac, had blessed Jacob and sent him to Paddan-aram to find a wife, and that he had warned Jacob, "You must not marry a Canaanite woman."

28:6. Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan-aram, to take him a wife from thence. And that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
