25:18. ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಮರುಭೂಮಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಉದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಪಾಳೆಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ಹವೀಲ ಮತ್ತು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶೂರಿನಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡು ಅಶ್ಶೂರದವರೆಗೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಸಂತತಿಗಳವರು ಪದೇಪದೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಆಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

25:18. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಹವೀಲ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ಶೂರಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೆಲ್ಲರ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸತ್ತನು.

25:18. His descendants settled from Havilah to Shur, which runs next to Egypt all the way to Asshur. They settled away from all their relatives.
