24:43. ನಾನು ಬಾವಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ನೀರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯುವತಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಆಕೆಗೆ, “ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕುಡಿಯಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊಡದಿಂದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೊಡು” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

24:43. ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಈಗ ನೀರಿನ ಬಾವಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕನ್ನಿಕೆಯು ನೀರು ತರಲು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊಡದಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರು ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ

24:43. Here I am, standing by the spring. When the young woman goes out to draw water, I'll say, "Give me a little water to drink from your jug."

24:43. See, I am standing here beside this spring. This is my request. When a young woman comes to draw water, I will say to her, "Please give me a little drink of water from your jug."

24:43. Behold, I am standing by the fountain of water. And let it come to pass, that the maiden that cometh forth to draw, to whom I shall say, Give me, I pray thee, a little water from thy pitcher to drink.

24:43. behold, I am standing by the spring of water. Let the virgin who comes out to draw water, to whom I shall say, "Please give me a little water from your jar to drink,"

24:43. Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw [water,] and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink;

24:43. behold, I am standing by the spring of water; let the young woman who comes out to draw, to whom I shall say, "Pray give me a little water from your jar to drink,"

24:43. I will stand by this well and wait for a young woman to come to get water. Then I will say, "Please give me water from your jar to drink."

24:43. Behold, I am standing by the spring of water. Let it happen, that the maiden who comes forth to draw, to whom I will say, Give me, I pray you, a little water from your pitcher to drink.
