23:15. “ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಬೆಲೆ ನಾನೂರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳಷ್ಟೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಿನಗಾಗಲಿ, ನನಗಾಗಲಿ ಆ ನಾನೂರು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚೇನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡು” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

23:15. ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ಆ ಭೂಮಿಯು ನಾನೂರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಶೆಕೆಲ್‌ ಬೆಲೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದು; ಅದು ನನಗೂ ನಿನಗೂ ಏನು? ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಶವವನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡು ಅಂದನು.

23:15. "Hear me, my lord. The land is worth 400 pieces of silver, but what is that between me and you? So bury your dead."
