7. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಿರುಚಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಶಕುನರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಸಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯಾವನೂ ಈ ಬರಹವನ್ನು ಓದಿ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವನೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧೂಮ್ರವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಹಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

7. ಆಗ ರಾಜನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿ, ಪಂಡಿತ, ಶಾಕುನಿಕರನ್ನು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಆ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರಿಗೆ, “ಈ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಓದಿ ನನಗೆ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬಲ್ಲ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವನ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಹಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂವರು ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
