6. ದೇವರು ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಹೌದು, ನೀನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದ ಹೃದಯ ದಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ನನಗೂ ತಿಳಿದದೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಡೆದು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

6. ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ, “ಹೌದು, ನೀನು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ನೀನು ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದ ತಪ್ಪು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿದೆ. ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

6. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರು, “ನೀನು, ಇದನ್ನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ; ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡದಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಡೆದು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಗೊಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
